My Bridesmaids and Maid of Honor Proposal
There are a few items in the box that I have created separately. I will list off each individual ones and what I have used to create them.
THE MAIN BOX
What I used for the Box that everything is in:
- Paper Mache book box not painted yet, you can get this at Joanns or Michaels
- Acrylic paint (I used black, tan, metallic gold and metallic bronze)
- Lining stickers for the edges
I painted the box completely in the colors I wanted accenting it with black and black inside. Then on the front part of the book I painted the girls names in Elvish as well as the sides as if it was a book. Lastly I placed the Lining stickers on the edges with a thin layer of clear glue to insure that the stickers will not move
THE MINI BOX
For the small box that goes inside the bigger box:
- Foldable mini boxes that comes with stings (Walmart)
- Basket Accents (choose the color you want I chose lavender)
- A brush pen by Pigma (If you prefer to paint
- LOTR replica ring
- On the mini box I took my brush pen and wrote on each side something different in Elvish writing on the front side I wrote my girls name on it in Elvish
- Fold the box
- I tied sting around the ring
- Placed the Basket accents in the box almost all the way
- placed the ring in the box
THE LETTERS
What you will need for the Letters to your girls
- Cards and Envelopes (colors are optional)
- Printer
- Matches
- Clear Letter Glue
- First get your pictures and type out what you want in the letters (Double check spelling)
- Print them out (its best to print out extras just in case)
- Cut out each one leaving a good amount of white around it
- Carefully and Slowly burn edges of notes with the matches (Be very careful on this part)
- Glue your notes onto the card
PUT EVERYTHING TOGETHER
What I have inside my box is Lavender scents (I am using lavender as my color and flowers for my wedding), a ring pop, the mini box, basket accents filling in the gaps inside the box and tapped the letter on the top of inside.
